The terms “Livvi”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Moxie App Technologies, Inc. We use the terms “you”, “your”, and “user” to mean any person using the Livvi Services or attending related events. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is protected. By using our Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Directly Provided Information: We collect information that you provide directly to us. This data is collected when you fill out our onboarding form, choose interests or groups, attend events, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us. This data includes your name, date of birth, phone number, email, gender identity, racial and ethnic identity, education information, occupation information, relationship status, location, hometown, interests, hobbies, and preferences related to friendship and social activities. This data may be used to create compatible groups, provide personalized recommendations, or improve our service offerings.
1.2. Automatically Collected Information: When you fill out surveys or forms related to Livvi and our Services, some information is automatically collected. This data includes your browser type and language, location information, and time taken to complete the form.
1.3. Communication Data: We may collect data related to your communication with us, including email address, phone number, or other contact information you provide when signing up or contacting our support team.
2. Use of Collected Information
2.1. Group Creation and Personalized Recommendations: We may use the information about you described above for the various business purposes related to operating our Services, which include the creation of compatible groups for you to find potential friends with similar interests and preferences. We may also use this information to offer personalized recommendations on potential matches or events that align with your interests.
2.2. Communication: We may use your information for various business purposes related to communicating with you, including but not limited to: responding to comments, questions and requests; communicating with you about service updates, waitlist updates, group matches and event reminders; communicating with you about new products, services and event recommendations that we think will be of interest to you; or conducting online surveys.
2.3. Site and Experience Improvement: We may use aggregated and anonymized data to analyze trends, improve our platform, and enhance user experience. This data will not include any personally identifying information.
2.4. Advertising and Other Uses: We may use your information to provide content, features or sponsorships that match member profiles or interests. This may include facilitating contests or other promotional activities or sending marketing communications.
3. Data Sharing
3.1. User Profiles: We share some of the information that we collect when you are matched into your group through GroupMe. This includes your name but does not include your email or phone number.
3.2. GroupMe Chat: THE DECISION TO JOIN GROUPME CHATS AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THE BROADER GROUP IS SOLELY AT YOUR DISCRETION. ANY INFORMATION THAT IS ALREADY PUBLIC ON YOUR GROUPME PROFILE WILL BE SHOWN TO THE OTHER GROUP MEMBERS UPON JOINING A GROUP CHAT. We encourage users to be cautious and mindful of the information they choose to share within the group chats.
3.3. Other Third-Party Service Providers: We may engage third-party service providers to assist us in delivering our services effectively. Information that you provide may also be shared with these third parties including, but not limited to, AirTable, Qualtrics, Twilio, and Facebook. These providers may have access to certain data but will only use it to fulfill their designated tasks and obligations to us, such as storing data, notifying you of group placement, and managing communications.
3.4. Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a court order, subpoena, or government investigation.
4. Data Security
We take data security seriously and implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Data Retention
We will retain your personal data as long as you are actively using the Services, or else for up to six months after your last use of the Services. To request immediate deletion of your data and termination of your account, please contact us at info@livvi.app. We may keep aggregate data in perpetuity.
6. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@livvi.app, and we will take steps to delete the information.

Livvi may update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the most recent version of the Privacy Policy to this page and may notify you by email or other communication of significant changes. Continued use of our services after such changes is your acceptance of the revised terms.
